Description
HID multiCLASS Reader, RP40, MCLASS SE, smartcard and HID proximity (also HID-KSF), Black, Mobile-ready
The multiCLASS SE RP40 offers adaptable, interoperable access control. Designed for multi-factor authentication door applications requiring standard wall switch mounting, RP40 supports a broad array of 13.56 MHz high frequency and 125 kHZ low-frequency credential technologies and a variety of form factors, including cards, fobs, and mobile devices. Operate through Mobile App and integrate with EntraPASS Access Control Software for more entrance management features.
The EntraPASS integration with HID Mobile Access leverages standard mobile device technologies in order to manage credentials securely from one intuitive platform. Credentials can easily be created, edited, issued, and revoked through the EntraPASS system which makes real-time requests to the HID Secure Identity Services portal. An email invitation is sent to the user and a Mobile ID is issued: In EntraPASS, an administrator uploads user information and sends an invitation with an activation code to each user. When the user receives the invitation, he/she downloads the app onto their smartphone entering the provided activation code into it. The Mobile ID is securely provisioned through the HID Secure Identity Services portal and the user is enrolled. The HID Mobile Access credential is now ready to use. It’s that simple.
While the design of the EntraPass/ HID Mobile Access solution is optimized for mixed physical card and Mobile ID populations, with Mobile IDs there’s no encoding, printing, and managing of physical cards required – Secure identities are managed wirelessly through the smartphone. Through over-the-air issuance and revocation, it is ideal for remote employees and visitors.
