About the Power Plant - Mesquite Solar 3
Mesquite Solar 3 is the latest phase of the landmark Mesquite Solar complex, one of the largest photovoltaic (PV) solar facilities in the U.S.
Construction activities on the 150-megawatt (MW) expansion project began in August 2015. The project created hundreds of construction jobs, part of a multi-phase expansion that employed nearly 800 workers at peak. The solar plant was completed December 2016.
