The In-Stile Series IS-9900 is our most versatile barrier optical turnstile, ideal for any interior application where security and style are important, and dimensions are tight. Designed to be highly customizable, this innovative model offers a choice of cabinet finishes from traditional stainless to a spectrum of powder coat colors on Carbon Steel to match any décor or company/team branding. Customers can choose glass or polycarbonate panels (that can be etched with a logo) and have 2 height choices to select from (36” or 46” tall). At last, architects and designers can truly create reliable, custom turnstile security systems that satisfy their design vision.

The IS-9900 Barrier Optical Turnstiles are a fusion of optical technology with the ultimate customization available on the market today. When turnstile access is granted, they swing open in sync to allow entry while optical sensors confirm passage and close the lane accordingly. Unauthorized passage (such as “tailgating” or attempting to cross through the lane in the wrong direction) will engage its alarm, which can be integrated into any number of internal security systems. Your array will be designed based on the volume of expected traffic and installation space. The normal passage rate is 30 people per minute on average (remember, people are the slowest component of any system).

  • Can be configured for controlled passage in one or both directions, with free or no passage in the other via settings on the logic controller
  • Lower section optical sensors prevent unauthorized “crawling” through lanes
  • Dual-axis cabinet sensor alignment with visible target to ensure a simplified and reliable installation
  • Optical sensors provide throughput for up to 30 people per minute
  • Powerful through-beam sensors exceed sensing distance to ensure proper functionality
  • Tri-color lights for lane status
  • Lower section optical sensors prevent unauthorized “crawling” through lanes
  • Can be configured for controlled passage in one or both directions, with free or no passage in the other via settings on the logic controller
  • Alarm condition provides an audible tone, as well as a solid-state output for integration into other systems
  • Fire alarm inputs incorporated to work with your fire system – upon fire condition panels open outward for free egress

 

OPTIONS

• Lid: Select your solid surface or wood laminate top from our standard color selections or request a quote for a custom color if needed.
• Cabinet: Choose from 304 stainless steel / No. 4 satin finish cabinet or powder coated carbon steel.
• Panel: Available in two height choices to select from (36″ or 46″ tall), tempered glass or polycarbonate, and can be etched with company logos or art provided by the customer.
• Add ADA push to exit placard button
• Add Frosted laser etching of your company logo/artwork into the doors
• Add Portable Mounting Platform (eliminates drilling)
